Ghana’s Economic Outlook for the year 2017

In December 2016, Ghanaians went to the polls to elect Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo as the new President for the Republic of Ghana for the next four years. Every new Government comes with its own policies, priorities and programmes.

This forum will, therefore, attempt to analyze and forecast the likely policy initiatives by the incoming political administration, the possible economic prospects and challenges that may arise as a result of these initiatives and how businesses can reposition themselves to succeed under this new administration. More emphasis shall be placed on the change in Government and repercussions on Ghana’s ongoing programme with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Millennium Challenge Compact.
