MEET THE GOVERNMENT

“MEET THE GOVERNMENT” Forum dubbed

“Creating a Welcoming Business Environment in Ghana – A look at our

Permits and Licensing Regime”.

Venue: Alisa Hotel, North Ridge Accra

Date: Wednesday 17th May, 2017

Time: 15.30 h – 18.00 h

The Government of Ghana has made the private sector growth one of its major agenda and is doing its best to create the atmosphere conducive enough to attract investments into the country. We believe that for this to materialise, Licensing and Permits would always create a major role since every business in Ghana needs to obtain variety of these business licenses, permits and registrations before it starts its operations. In most cases, the investors have to periodically renew the licenses and permits required for their business operations.

This forum will therefore explore the types of licenses, permits and registrations for businesses in Ghana, the bureaucratic and legal hurdles faced by entrepreneurs wishing to go through these processes and also examine the procedures, time and cost involved in obtaining a license or permit in the country.
