At a Board meeting on Tuesday, November 12th, 2024, the Board members unanimously appointed Dr. Macdonald C. Vasnani as the New president of the Ghanaian-German Economic Association (GGEA). The appointment was subsequently confirmed at the 2024 Annual General Meeting.

Dr. M. C. Vasnani is the C.E.O. of the renowned logistics company, Consolidated Shipping Ag. Ltd. He is not just an experienced owner with a demonstrated history of working in the transportation/trucking/railroad industry, he is equally skilled in Petroleum, Operations Management, Supply Chain Optimization, Import, and Freight.

Dr. M. C. Vasnani comes to the G.G.E.A. presidency as a strong entrepreneurship professional with an EXECUTIVE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM focused in Organizational Leadership from the University of Chicago – Booth School of Business.

Dr. M.C. Vasnani expressed gratitude for the confidence reposed in him and called on all members to contribute to building a stronger Association to promote Ghanaian-German partnerships and investments. This appointment comes on the back of the sudden demise of the late president of the Association, Mr. Stephen Antwi Esq.
