Ecobank Ghana PLC, has rewarded 70 salaried account holders in the second draw of the bank’s Double Salary Promo.

The promotion, which started in January this year, was to reward both existing and new salary account holders of the bank and to welcome them to the Ecobank family.

In the first draw which was held in Accra last month, over 80 customers of the bank had their salaries doubled in the promo.

Rationale

Explaining the rationale for the promo, the Head of Consumer Products at Ecobank Ghana PLC, Kate Thompson, said although the bank has rewarded all categories of its customers over the years, it never designed a product specifically tailored for salaried workers.

She said it was to reward particularly the salaried customers of the bank that this promo has been organised to reward them for their continuous support and patronage of the services and products of the banks.

Benefits

She said aside standing the chance of having their salary doubled during the promotion, “salaried customers also benefit from a free insurance cover worth about GH¢10,000 and also free debit card.”

Categories

The winners are drawn from seven categories of salaried account holders depending on the salary.

She said the method was adopted to ensure that all customers who pass their salary through the bank are given equal chances.

Meanwhile, the third and final draw of the promo comes off on April 12, after the promo ends on March 31.
