Awake gives GH¢1m to National Cardiothoracic Centre so far

Awake Purified Drinking water, through its charity-driven project ONE 4 Life, showed massive love to people with various cardiovascular diseases by donating GH¢75,000 on Valentine’s Day.

This donation cumulatively rounds up all donations made so far since 2016 to GH¢1million.

Speaking at the event, the Director for Water and CSD – Ms. Eunice Adjei, announced that donations made so far to the Cardio centre through the sale of Awake bottles have benefitted 66 needy persons.

“Indeed, we proudly attest that with the help of Ghanaian consumers and our stakeholders, our dream of building a formidable brand and a great Corporate Social Responsibility project has been immensely successful, and we are poised to ensure continuity of the One4Life Campaign.

“On behalf of the Group Chairman, Dr. Kwabena Adjei, the Managing Director, Mr. Richard Adjei, staff and board of Kasapreko, we want to say ‘thank you’ to all Consumers, Distributors, retailers and everyone that has supported the Awake Purified Drinking Water and One4Life project since 2016.”

Receiving the 9th donation since the initiative began, Dr. Lawrence Sereboe-Head of the Cardiothoracic Centre, used the opportunity to express the Centre’s gratitude to Awake Purified Drinking Water and Kasapreko Company Limited for sustaining their commitment to the Centre.

He also used the opportunity to entreat corporate bodies and individuals to follow suit and support the Centre to save more lives.

The main objective of the donation is to thank its consumers for helping the brand to achieve great success through their continuous purchase of Awake Purified Drinking Water.

Awake Purified Drinking Water is available in 19litres, 1.5litres, 750ml, 500ml and 330ml, available for purchase in all marts and shopping centres across Ghana.
