Mr. Charles Darko is the owner and Executive Chairman of Riepco Group of Companies. The conglomerate, established in 1985 is headquartered in Tema – Ghana, providing tailored industrial solutions to the Mining, Food & Beverage, Cement & Construction, Transport and other allied industries.
Mr. Charles Darko is an Industrial Engineer and Consultant with a wealth of over 50 years’ experience in the business. He completed a Senior Executive Management Programme at the Ghana Institute of Management Professionals (GIMPA) and an Industrial Engineering programme at Salford Manchester in the UK.
Mr. Darko has been an active member of the Ghanaian – German Economic Association as his role at Riepco includes leading negotiations with international partners; one of many is Fuchs Germany.
His hardwork and dedication to promoting economic cooperation between local and international firms awarded him the position of Affiliates Committee Chairperson of the Ghana Chamber of Mines – from 2008 to 2023. He was also an echoing force in the Ghana Shippers Council. Currently, he is a member of the following affiliations: Ghanaian-German Economic Association, The Ghana Chamber of Mines, Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ghana Employers Association, Canada Ghana Chamber of Commerce, Private Enterprise Federation.
